This is a very rare birdie hour design of Omega's masterpiece "30mm caliber" ss 37mm oversized model manufactured in the mid 1940s.
The impactful 37mm oversized case has a wonderful presence, and the silver Arabic dial with the rare original birdie hour hands is a precious gem with the impactful look that only a center-seconds version can provide. The stainless steel case retains its original shape, and the engraving at 11 o'clock on the lugs clearly indicates that the watch is intended for the Portuguese market.
