Eterna Matic "Super Kontiki" with Eterna Cal.1424U, circa late 1960s. Includes original bracelet. Equipped with Eterna Cal.1424 automatic movement with ball bearings inside the self-winding rotor.
The screw back waterproof case with rotating bezel is built differently from the 1st diver and military models, the bezel width is wider and the dial is designed compactly. The Cal.1424 is equipped with the same mechanism as Cal.1404U, an in-house movement from the 1950s, which adjusts the time with a single pull of the crown and changes the date the moment it is pulled out two steps. The watch comes with a rare 1/67th Kontiki bracelet, which fits up to 19cm wrist size. The dial is not the early gilt and gold lettering, but the later matte black and silver lettering.
