A 1964 Rolex Oyster Chronograph "Pre-Daytona" Ref. 6238 with a very rare black dial. This rare model, rarely seen on the watch market, is the last model to combine a black dial with a black in-dial and the only one model in matte black. The ivory letter model has a unique texture and color that is reminiscent of gilt dials, and the ivory letter model is considered to be even more rare and popular than the silver letter model. This is a gem of a one-owner system with the original bracelet of the time, which has been kept in excellent condition.

Case: Minor scratches and slight ageing, but well preserved with original shape and volume. Dial: slight aging, but in excellent condition with no visible scratches or blemishes. Movement: no problems with winding, screwing or chronofunctions. Accuracy is around 20 seconds per day.
