Manufactured in the late 1930s, this is an exceptionally rare 'Hermetico' 1st Water-Proof Chronograph with the renowned Lemania caliber Cal.15TL. It features a distinctive black snail dial. The 'Hermetico' is equipped with a snap-back waterproof case, with the back protruding from the middle case, making it a super rare piece.
While the 'Hermetico' can also be found in Omega watches of the same era, it is particularly scarce in Lemania, where non-waterproof cases are more common. It is extremely rare to find such a piece in the market. The Black Mirror Dial with a multi-scale design in white letters and the Hermetico case with a big pusher showcase a fantastic taste unique to the earliest waterproof chronographs.
This is a highly valuable and rare masterpiece, reflecting the superb taste of the first-generation waterproof chronograph.
