This is a 1940s Wittner Varjax-23 with step bezel screw back chronograph. The case is so massive and powerful that you may think it was made by the same manufacturer as the Longines chronographs of that time. The two-tone color of the tachymeter and telemeter gives this piece a wonderfully balanced look.
