1954 Patek Philippe Tropical 1st Generation 18K Rose Gold

This is a rare 18KRG model from the first generation of Patek Philippe "Tropical" watches made between 1953 and 1955. At the time, the dials were made of ceramic, a unique process that was invented to prevent the dials from deteriorating due to humidity or sunlight, and to maintain their beautiful color semi-permanently. There are three major generations of the tropical watch, and this is the first of them. The main difference between this model and the later ones is the embedded indexes, called "ebows", which are very elaborate and rare compared to the other models. *It comes with a very rare original 18KRG bracelet.
