This is a very rare Wittnauer snapback water proof chronograph manufactured in the late 1930s and early 1940s.
It has a massive 38mm case, similar to Longines chronographs of the time, with a bulge 71, and a wonderfully complex and even dial design with Breguet indexes and a spiral tachymeter. The belt is an external Oyster design bracelet with a Longines clasp from the 50s.
