Rolex Oyster Cushion in 9K gold, sold in the 1930's by Murdock's, an exclusive jewelry store opened in South Africa in 1897 by Englishman James Edgar Murdock, which at the time was frequented by Greek royalty. This is a 9K gold model of the Oyster Cushion. The dial design, unique to the 30's, features a mirrored circle inside the outer minute markers, balanced by printed Arabic numerals and blued steel old leaf.
