1940s Universal Cal.289 Rare Square Design Baby Chronograph with Pink Dial in Enversteel

Universal, rare Cal. 289, square dial, baby chronograph, pink dial, mint condition, circa 1940s. A very rare baby chronograph with a square case, which is even more rare than the Valjoux 69 and Geneva Sport 237. The rare pink dial is applied, which is rare in this era, and the cannonball indexes are engraved instead of being formed, which is very unique and elaborate. The embossed steel case has retained its original shape and hairline finish, and the pink dial is in beautiful condition, as are the blued steel hands.
