1960s Universal Geneve "Polerouter Sub" Blue Bakelite Bezel

This is a rare "Paul Lewter Sub" blue bakelite bezel model manufactured by Universal in the late 1960s. It is equipped with Cal.1-69, a micro-rotor movement with a day advance function that is representative of Universal. The screw-back water-resistant case with a unique blue bakelite bezel has a screw-down crown, asymmetrical design considering the crown guard, and a black matte dial with a vivid and unique design. It is a gem that combines a high level of perfection and design unique to this era. The dial is well preserved and the luminescence on the dial has changed moderately and evenly over the years, with no noticeable scratches or stains.
