A 1957 Universal Masterpiece Polerouter 1st Generation in stainless steel with a silver circle dial and precious movement Cal.215. At a time when automatic winding was the mainstream, it is equipped with a micro-rotor, Cal. 215. 28 jewels, bi-directional winding, and the use of a material with high specific gravity for the rotor to improve the winding efficiency are some of the features of this early movement. This is a precious gem that allows you to enjoy the strong attention to detail and craftsmanship of the manufacturer. The circle-finished silver dial has a different look from the sunray dials of later years, and the thin water-resistant case made by HF, which also handled cases for Omega in the same decade, is recommended as a vintage watch for everyday use. Since Cal.215 was started in 1955 and was changed to Cal.218 in 1957, it is a valuable 1st generation model that was produced only for two years.
