Rolex Oyster, Bubble Back, Ref. 2764, early type 2-piece case, rare art-deco yellow dial with roman indexes, circa 1940s. It uses an early two-piece case consisting of a middle case and a back cover, with a mid-crown that gives it a heavy look.?The dial is yellow two-tone base with mirror circle, Roman indexes and short bar indexes, which is called "eye of the eye" among the bubble back collectors of the past. It comes with a tapered expansion bracelet from a year later of its time (suitable for wrist size up to 19cm).
