This is a 1950's Jaeger-LeCoultre 9kt yellow gold case 34mm flared lugs design with Cal. The 34mm flared lug case is made by DTE (De Trevars Ltd.), a British case maker, who also made the gold case for the later masterpiece Geophysic. This is one of the historic case makers that also produced the gold case for the later masterpiece Geophysic. The silver dial with its high-class applied jumping numerals, wedge, and dolphin hands has an expression unique to the 50's. The dial has changed to an ivory tone over the years, and together with the beautiful flared lug case, it is a gem with a wonderful taste.
