This is a rare 1940's Lecoultre Cal.438 equipped clip-on waterproof rectangular model with black dial. It has an early clip-on rectangular waterproof case with excellent airtightness that also exists in Omega of the same age. The textured and aged black dial with luminescent Arabic indexes and the massive waterproof rectangular case are precious gems that fascinated us with the aspect of the times and great taste. The watch is equipped with the C.438 tonneau-shaped movement, which is used in many rectangular models.
