This is a rare clamshell chronograph with a triple scale dial. It has a very rare "clamshell" water resistant case with 4 screws. The dial is an elaborate triple scale design with tachymeter (blue), telemeter (red), and minute track (black). It's a precious Breitling chronograph with the unique taste of the 40's, different from the later Chronomat and Navitimer. It is equipped with the famous Venus 178, which was used in many models such as the Chronomat.
