This is the Derby & Schuldenbrunn "Index Moby-Dick." It is equipped with a simple split-seconds function called "monoratrapante", which allows the user to measure intermediate times by pressing a button coaxial with the crown while the chronograph is running. It is a unique piece of watchmaking that makes the split-seconds function, one of the most complicated mechanisms, simple to manufacture and realize.
