Nicolet, "Co-Axial" chronograph, non-pusher, circa 1950s.
It is equipped with the very rare Landeron Cal. 251, which operates the chronograph, winds the mainspring, and adjusts the time using only the crown. This is a gem of originality with its unique non-pusher chronograph. The screw back water resistant case is in excellent condition with no signs of wear and tear from polishing.
To operate the chronograph: (without pulling the crown) turning the crown twice counter-clockwise starts the chronograph, turning it once clockwise pauses it, turning it counter-clockwise once continues, and turning it clockwise stops the chronograph and restarts it back to 0.
To manual wind: pulling the crown once then turning the crown clockwise winds the mainspring.
To adjust the time: pulling the crown twice then turning the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise adjusts the time.
