1940s Wittnauer Val-71 Stainless Steel 38mm Water-resistant Chronograph

This is a very rare 1940's Wittner ss 38mm water proof chronograph with Valjoux 71, one of the few three register chronograph movements from the 40's, and an early water proof case with big pushers and snap back. It is a collector's piece that was produced only during a very limited period of time among the many variations of chronographs. The massive construction of the early water-resistant case gives it an overwhelming presence, and the silver two-tone dial, which has aged well, is a gem of taste.
