A 1940's "THUYA" Venus 170 equipped? A rare "Spillman" water proof chronograph with tropical brown dial. It has a water resistant case with a distinctive "Spielmann" design. Most Spielmann chronographs are horizontal two-register chronographs with the Valjoux 22 or Venus 150, but the Spielmann chronograph with the vertical Venus 170 is very rare. The tropical dial that has aged well with the texture is a gem that fascinated the wonderful taste.
