1950's "CHRONOGRAPHE SIUSSE" 38mm Triple Calendar Chronograph This is a very rare unused bezel setting calendar model. There are some minor scratches due to storage, but it is a very valuable unused item. It is equipped with a Landeron movement with a unique mechanism that allows the calendar to be adjusted by moving the bezel back and forth between the 2 o'clock position (month), 6 o'clock position (date) and 10 o'clock position (day of the week). The triple-calendar chronographs of the same period, the Universal Tricompax and the Valjoux 72C, were button-operated, and there was no other way to adjust the date using a rotating bezel. This is a very valuable gem that shows the originality of the time when each manufacturer was going through trial and error.
