1940s Tavannes Val-22 Stainless Steel 38mm Water-resistant Chronograph Black Snail Dial

This is a beautiful example of a rare black snailed dial 1940s manufactured Taban ss 38mm water proof chronograph with the famous Valjoux 22. The heavily built screw back water resistant case retains its original shape and volume, and the primed multi-scale design black gilt dial is superbly preserved with intricate printing and beautiful luster all over the dial. It is a hidden gem with a high level of design and quality even though it is an obscure type, such as the famous Valjoux 22 that was used by many brands such as Rolex.
