Omega, “Ranchero”, Ref. 2990-1, a very rare U.S. Army Military watch, circa 1959.
The thin, water-resistant snapback case is lightweight. The black matte dial with arrow hands reminiscent of the Speedmaster, Seamaster, and Railmaster of the same era is an excellent period design. It comes with a rare semi-extended caterpillar bracelet (1035FF630, fits wrist size = 20.5cm) and the accompanying archive shows that it was issued to the US Army.
