1930s Rare Universal “Compur” Chronograph with Porcelain Dial in 18K YG
PRICE : ￥968,000 (including tax)
Universal, “Compur”, 18-karat yellow gold, chronograph, porcelain dial, circa 1930s.
A very rare Universal “Compur” from the 1930s, an 18-carat yellow gold chronograph with a porcelain dial. Equipped with a large 33 mm diameter chronograph movement, Cal. 15Line, the “Compur” is a rare early model before Universal Geneva. The 18-carat yellow gold case with its round-shaped brazed horns and the spiral design of the porcelain dial with its large blued-steel leaf hands with dolphin hour markers give it a period look and a great taste. 36 mm, a good size. The large snailed design of the dial and the 20mm lug width gives this watch a presence reminiscent of the 40mm size.
