Philippe Watch, “Spillmann”, Valjoux 22 powered, silver multi-scale dial, stainless steel, circa 1940s.
This watch uses an early snap case back type water-resistant Spillmann case, a case design that is formerly seen among Universal and many other brands. It is a multi-scale watch with a well-balanced beautiful design reminiscent of the 1930s. Powered by the famous Valjoux 22, a movement that was usually equipped among Rolex brands in the same decade.
